3. I have double coverage for my vehicle if I purchase an extended warranty immediately, while the manufacturer’s warranty is still valid.
Extended warranties only begin after your manufacturers warranty expires. In other words, at no point will you have double coverage. You will however have assurance that your vehicle will continue to be covered once your manufacture’s warranty expires. Also, to get the best coverage for the best price it is recommended that you purchase extended warranty as soon as possible. Rates change over time, and our vehicles age, the longer we wait the higher the price we pay. In essence, you will get the best deal by purchasing extended warranty now, than waiting.
